"Gursha" – The art of sharing.
In Ethiopia, eating is a sacred ceremony of community. At Habesha, we celebrate this tradition right in the middle of Salzburg. The heart of our meal is Injera – a soft, slightly sour flatbread that serves as both plate and cutlery.
We eat with our hands, share large platters, and feed each other – a gesture we call "Gursha". Experience the magic of Ethiopian spices.

Injera is not just bread – it is simultaneously plate, spoon and fork. You tear off a piece and wrap the food inside it.

Ethiopia is the home of coffee. The coffee plant was first discovered in the Kaffa region – hence the name.
Ethiopia is the birthplace of coffee. For millennia, the coffee ceremony has been a sacred ritual of community and hospitality.
Coffee is brewed three times: Abol (strong), Tona (medium) and Baraka (light, the blessing). Each round has its own meaning. The ceremony lasts up to an hour and is a sign of the highest hospitality.
